How to download a YouTube video
Whether you want the full video, just the audio, or a specific resolution, here's exactly how to do it in under a minute.
Find the video on YouTube
Open the YouTube app or website and find the video you want to save. It can be a regular video, a Short, or an unlisted video you already have the link to.
Copy the video link
Tap the Share button under the video and choose Copy link. On desktop, you can copy the URL straight from the address bar. The link usually looks like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=… or https://youtu.be/….
Paste it into YTGrab
Head back to the YTGrab homepage and paste the link into the input box. There's nothing to install and no account to create — the box is ready as soon as the page loads.
Tap Download
Press the Download button and wait a moment while the video is fetched. This is the only step where you need to wait — everything after this happens instantly.
Choose your format and quality

Save the file to your device

Tips for a smoother download
Use a stable connection
Larger files, like 1080p or 4K video, take longer on a weak connection. Switch to Wi-Fi for big downloads where possible.
Pick the right format first
If you only need the sound, choose MP3 rather than MP4 — it downloads much faster and takes up far less space.
