Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of YTGrab (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What the Service does
YTGrab lets you paste a link to a publicly accessible YouTube video and download that video as an MP4 file, or its audio track as an MP3 file, directly to your device. The Service does not host, store, or index any video content itself — it acts on your specific, individual request each time you paste a link.
2. Your responsibility for what you download
You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and for any content you choose to download. Before downloading a video, you should have the right to do so — because you own the content, the content is licensed for reuse or offline saving, it is in the public domain, or your use qualifies as fair use / fair dealing under the law that applies to you. YTGrab does not review, verify, or take a position on the copyright status of any video processed through the Service, and does not encourage downloading copyrighted material without the rights holder's permission.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Use the Service to infringe someone else's copyright or other intellectual property rights
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to send bulk or excessive requests to the Service
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Resell, redistribute, or build a competing commercial service directly on top of this Service without permission
4. Relationship to YouTube
YTGrab is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. "YouTube" is a trademark of Google LLC. Use of the Service to download content from YouTube is subject to YouTube's own Terms of Service, which may separately restrict downloading. It is your responsibility to comply with YouTube's terms in addition to these Terms.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every video will be available to download — some videos are intentionally excluded, as described on our FAQ page.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YTGrab and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any liability arising from copyright claims related to files you choose to download.
7. Copyright complaints
If you are a rights holder and believe content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us with details of the video link in question and a description of your rights, and we will review the request. Because the Service does not host content, removal typically involves restricting the Service's ability to process links to the specific video in question.
8. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
9. Termination
We may restrict or block access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms, without prior notice.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (Update this section with your specific jurisdiction before publishing.)
